Appleby Magna with Measham Scout Group urgently need help to keep our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts operating!

If you've ever been involved in the Scout movement, you'll know how fantastic it is to be able to show young people how to have fun, adventure and develop friendships in a safe environment, whilst learning key life skills.

If you've been a leader previously, or would like to find out more about becoming a uniformed leader, please contact Steve Grainger, Group Scout Leader in the first instance.

Help us to build the leaders of the future by taking the lead today!

LEADERS URGENTLY NEEDED!!!

We are an active Scout Group in North West Leicestershire, but we attract young people from Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire as we are so close to the border of these counties. Measham is a former coal mining village and is just inside the National Forest boundary, while Appleby Magna is a traditional farming village a mile up the road.

Our Scout group continues to grow in terms of young members and is now full again.

We shall have to introduce a waiting list again as we don’t have sufficient adult leaders to increase section numbers.

If you want to join the group either as an adult or your siblings then email details to us to consider.

As per group policy Parents who are willing to help on regular basis get priority on the waiting list

Beavers are excited about the 25th Anniversary of Beavers and had a birthday party with a massive cake and deserts during the recent bonfire night activity held at our scout hut
